WASHING AND MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS

All Krystian’s products meet washing and drying requirements as well as proper maintenance marking requirements defined in applicable European standards. The most important legal regulations include:

1.PN-EN ISO 6330 Textiles – Domestic washing and drying procedures for flat textile product testing.

The present standard defines in detail 8 procedures required for industrial washing, depending on colour, type and raw material composition of washed clothing and chemical agent used.

The standard defines also 2 drying procedures:

  • A – Drying hanged out on clothes lines
  • B - Drying hanged out on clothes lines by draining
  • C - Drying flat
  • D  -Drying flat by draining
  • E – Drying on plate drier
  • F – Drying in drum drier


2.PN-EN ISO 15797 Textiles – Industrial washing and finishing procedures for workwear testing

The present standard defines in detail 8 procedures required for industrial washing, depending on colour, type and raw material composition of washed clothing and chemical agent used.

The standard defines also 2 drying procedures:

  • Procedure A – Drum drying
  • Procedure B – Finishing in tunnels/chambers


Detailed requirements for labelling clothes suitable for industrial washing under ISO 15797 are provided for in EN ISO 30023. Maintenance method is presented by the pictogram on the left, where the textile products manufacturer is obliged to mark the number of procedure in accordance to which the clothing model shall be maintained and indicate recommended drying method.
